If you're curious about the eyes in the header, yes they are mine. I have become extremely grateful to my Maker for them after having found out several years ago that I have a problem with my corneas called Keratoconus.  So far my vision is still pretty good with contacts. Needless to say, I'm also very grateful for the developers of auto-focus on cameras.  Without it ---- guess that's simple - I would only have sharp photos by accident.  I love photography and even though I still struggle with confidence in my art, I was encouraged last week when someone reminded me, "It doesn't matter what you do, there will always be someone who can do it better."   Guess that's true--unless you're Michael Phelps (watching Olympics 2008 this week).  .
