Yesterday was the first day of school for five of my eight grand (and they are) kids. The oldest grandson is 14, a Senior in 2012; next is a grandson age 11 in the Senior Class of 2015; next is granddaughter who is 8, a Senior in 2018. Then, there are twins who are 5 and Seniors in the Class of 2021. Of the other three granddaughters, one will be in the Senior Class of 2022 and the other two will be in the Senior Class of 2025. That seems like a long way off but I know it will be here very quickly. That means I will be ?? in 2025? Don't think I'll count!! I'll just be loving whatever the days I get to spend with my husband, two sons, two daughter-in-laws, and those eight grandkids!!
If you're curious about the eyes in the header, yes they are mine. I have become extremely grateful to my Maker for them after having found out several years ago that I have a problem with my corneas called Keratoconus. So far my vision is still pretty good with contacts. Needless to say, I'm also very grateful for the developers of auto-focus on cameras. Without it ---- guess that's simple - I would only have sharp photos by accident. I love photography and even though I still struggle with confidence in my art, I was encouraged last week when someone reminded me, "It doesn't matter what you do, there will always be someone who can do it better." Guess that's true--unless you're Michael Phelps (watching Olympics 2008 this week). .
